anyone feeling ENCOURAGED!!???

There is a cold front sweeping the nation, the whole east coast is going to be cooler by this weekend. The weather is going to be great and I cannot wait to get outside!

I have read a lot about getting my heart rate up on this board the last couple days, and I cannot wait to run for a few minutes in the middle of my long walk.

Summer vegtables are starting to hit the farmers markets. The best tasting veggies of the year!!

And summer fruit! It's finally cheap enough for me to buy fresh berries every week! I had a plum yesterday - amazing. If that doesn't make me want to eat healthily, being active in the sun sure makes me want to eat lots of watermelon at least.

AAANNNNDDD . . . It's a great time to grill up some veggies - zucchini, peppers, asparagus, eggplants, throw it all on the Bar- B and enjoy!!!

Thanks for this!!! It is nice to see the positive things in black & white once in a while. I, too, LOVE watermelon and berries and all summer veggies!!! YUM. I am also getting out to play some tennis and run around the gorgeous river. Let's all toast to SUMMER!!!

I feel encouraged every morning I get up and meet my goal of getting to the gym. The weather, fruits and increased options for activity have inspired me to the fullest. Thank you to summer for motivation and my group for keeping me honest!

My first week and I lost 2.5lbs!
The weather is nice and I'm rollerblading home from work today.
I find summer a much more motivating season--easier to get yourself moving and to eat light, healthy meals.

Don't forget you can grill up fruit - peaches & pineapple are awesome on the grill with either some balsamic vinegar or honey. Top with a little frozen yogurt, yogurt or lo-fat whipped cream - YUM!
