any Europeans (or Swiss) out here?

Looking for some people who think in metric and have worked out ways to adapt diets to our lack of low-fat foods. Maybe we can start a group...

Anyone else out there?

...ah well, I am European, but I'm English, and we have managed to hang on to the Imperial system here!
Funnliy enough, I'm a scientist and have been using metric every working day since I started work (ahem!) years ago, but I just can't relate it to food. I only visualise food in lbs and oz. Strange. :-)

I live in Israel though I was born and raised in the USA. I've learned to think metrically, food-wise, weight-wise, and height-wise.

As far as low-fat foods: I almost never buy or eat them because I usually dislike them. I adore cheese and have tried low-fat hard cheeses. In my opinion, they taste like the paper they're wrapped in. So I've learned to buy good and very tasty (and high-fat) cheeses and to eat very small portions.

Good luck.
