All of them.

And, none of them.

Other questions you might want to ask are, "what kind of aerobic shape am I in?" "can I run for 30 minutes straight?" "How quickly does my heart rate return to normal after strenuous aerobic activity?" "What am I using to fuel myself?"

BMI tends to get screwed up by muscle mass, Weight is very subjective, and Body fat percentage really only tells you one thing. Use them all together to measure your own individual progress. Measure against yourself, rather than others- your mileage may vary...

I find it most helpful to use a tape measure and measure my waist and hips once a month.

keeping in mind that overall health is the most important indicator, check the link below. Body fat % is better than BMI or dress size.

You can be 20lbs overweight and have great cardiorespiratory and vascular health and perfect cholesterol, glucose etc

personal comfort level

I am reaching for a comfortable BMI. But as far as the chest to hip ratio. Based on my heritage and frame I don't think that is going to happen. It is said that the chest and hip should be equal. But, I must admit I like my baby making hips and a little junk in my trunk. Just not too much and moving all around. Once I reach my BMI and tone I will be complete.
