tip for any fitness, shape or other exercise magazine readers

If you go through the magazine and like the workouts, but don't use them much, try this. Rip out the pages (or photocopy them) and put them in those clear plastic sleeves with the holes on the side. Then add a keyring to keep them organized. (You can get the plastic sleeves at wal mart, target or any office supply store...usually about $3 for 50 or so.)

Whenever I need a change, I just flip through it or I can lay out a few pages side by side to get some new ideas/have a whole workout routine set up.

Any other comments/tip?

I just did this! I moved and had to recycle all my magazines so I just ripped out the exercises and articles I found to be the most interesting and kept them in a folder. Now I plan to do it with each issue.

I also do this with recipes I print out or rip out from magazines. Having them in a binder makes for easy access when deciding what to make.

Thanks for passing on the tip to others!

Found a favorite workout in the Oprah magazine (April 2007) and had pages color copied and laminated to one big page. It's something I look at a lot so it was worth the couple of dollars of lamination.
