I don't know anything about the fat smash diet but I like healthy portioned meals.
I personally count calories but I think it is important to learn how to eat thin. I thought of doing like nutisystem so I could learn portion control but I think there is enough info out there to help us learn what is healthy.
What ever you choose I wish you well.

I think that just plain 'ol portion control/healthy food choices/exercise is the best. FSD is just another fad diet.

I think the best way to lose weight is with a lifestyle change that you intend to make a permanent part of your life. That way once you've lost the weight, you don't have to learn another set of skills to maintain the loss. I'm not familiar with FSD, but is it a plan that you want to stay on for the rest of your life?

I'm the last poster and upon further reflection wanted to add that I think for some people using a diet plan in the beginning can be effective, because it can help you to lose weight quickly while your motivation is high, and it can take time to learn the skills you'll need to prepare healthy meals. But you'd have to realize that you will need to learn those skills if you want to keep the weight off permanently. If you lose the weight you want and then end the diet and go back to your former way of eating, you will regain the weight.
