Workout for Thighs?

My thighs are my problem area. I simply don't reduce weight there. I know there is no "Spot" reduction technique, but can anyone suggest a good workout routine that's worked for you? Thanks!

squats, lunges, running basically mixing strength training with cardio....at the beginning of this month my thighs were 29" now they are 26" and i am a new mom so I haven't been able to go running but I have been using elliptical machines, I go on walks and I do squats and lunges...what do you feel is the problem? inner thigh? quads? or hamstrings? Let me know and I will suggest an exercise to help slim that area

11:54 - Are you Serious?

Although I am not the OP the thread caught my attention.
I have been working my a** off with cardio on elliptical (high intensity) walking on treadmill with incline for anywhere between 30 - 1 1/2 hr / day. I do the abducter, aducter machines, and my thighs have not budged - I am stuck at 39". Can you provide more detail what you do.
My problem area are my inner thighs, outer thighs, and butt.

I do reverse lunges and I will tire out one leg and then switch over and do reverse lunges with the other leg. A really good machine to get on for your legs is a stair stepper. Also, I do a lot of squats....i work my legs 1-2 times a week and i do cardio everyday...the abducter and the adductor are good machines...you should always do the strength training exercises before cardio. To work your inner thighs, I do a squat and on the way back up I kick my leg out to the side...I do 4 sets of 10 on each leg and I do that with the reverse lunges and squats so that's about 4 leg exercises with 40 each so that's about 160 squats and then I do cardio. For your outer thigh I do leg lifts but i put a 10lb dumbbell on my thigh and lift that. For your butt you can do a squat and on the way back up kick your leg out to the back....I hope that helps please let me know if you need more info
