I am the movie queen

here's some great options:

Romance/Chick flicks
Notebook
beaches
Steel Magnolias
Titanic (great long movie to relax to)
Waiting to Exhale
Boys on the Side

Humor:
The Ringer
The Jerk
Airplane
Old School
Wedding Crashers
Ladies Man

Hope that helps!

Mindless humor movies:
Young Frankenstein
Something About Mary
Parenthood (I don't know what it is... I just find this movie funny.)
And sorry... The Secret is definitely in this category. =)

Chick Flix:
Say Anything
50 First Dates

seabiscuit - underdog owner, trainer, jockey, and horse. It's inspirational twice over (not just once) - no more details in case you haven't seen it.

Best In Show, one of the funniest movies ever. I watch classic Disney movies for inspiration, but I guess that's kind of weird. The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, SLeeping Beauty, Aladdin, etc
