I'm having a hard time.

I tried to start the fat smashers diet today, I'm only 17 so I can't buy the groceries and the only thing we had here to fit teh diet was eggs and yogurt I struggled all day and my mom told me not to worry about it to just wait till after tomorrow when she can bring me some fruits and veggies home, I feel horrible about it tho.

little girls shouldn't go on big fancy diets!
Eat what you have just don't overeat, you'll be fine!

Take it one day at a time! Don't be so hard on yourself. You didn't have the items you needed to succeed today.

You should really be happy that your mother in supporting you and offering to pick-up the supplies you need for this diet to work.

Good luck and don't beat yourself up! :)

Why did you pick today to get started? It is good to make the decision to eat healthily, but the Fat Smash Diet is not the only way to eat healthily. If it's something you'd like to try, great. But, given your situation, you need to be sure that your mom is on board, and willing to do the necessary grocery shopping, etc. Maybe you could help out with the shopping if she gave you money to do it, or maybe you could go with her, so you know you have what you need.

Be open to modifying the diet if you need to. Try and understand the concepts, rather than the hard-and-fast rules. It's basically, eat foods that contain a lot of water and fiber, and very litte of foods that don't (to the best of my understanding.) You may not always have access to exactly the correct foods, but you need to be sure to eat enough, even if it's not exactly what it should be. Just be aware of what you're doing, and just because you don't have exactly what you need, don't use that as an excuse to eat chocolate cupcakes instead - just find a healthy alternative, and go with it.

Good luck!!
