Water with Crystal LIght

I don't really like the taste of just plain water so I make a pitcher of Crystal Light to add a slight lemon taste. What are opinions about this?

I don't know much about Crystal Light. I'll always choose a real food over a manufactured food. Have you checked the label ingredients?

Some other things to try in your H20 - a few tbs of pomegranate juice (antioxidants!), lemon or lime juice, grated fresh ginger squeezed through a coffee filter (just a little), mint, cherry juice.....

I bought a bunch of those individual Crystal Light packets. I like spring water, but I still don't drink enough of it when it's just plain old water. When it has flavoring added to it, I have no problem drinking a 20 oz. bottle. I'm sure there are some things in it that aren't so great for you, but honestly I feel like it's that way about everything! No matter what you say you put in your stomach, someone will tell you how bad it is for you (at least that's how it always ends up for me!)

I love it! I buy singles, you are supposed to add 1 single to every 500 ml bottle. I add 1 to a litre bottle everyday at work, and usually drink it all!

I personally like water, but when out at a restaurant or in another city, I prefer to add lemon slices to artificial mixes such as Crystal Lite or Koolaid, etc...
I just can't get over the artificial taste...and the idea of the alien chemicals being ingested in my body... (my hubby works in cancer research.)

Plus, the other reason is that I cannot tolerate artificial sweeteners-- they give me a bad migraine or stomach problems...

Luckily, I rarely drink pop or Koolaid or fruit juices....

I second 3:00 pm's suggestion of adding a little dash of a natural fruit or fruit juice if you really need to drink your water with flavoring...

For a slight lemon taste, I add a slight amount of lemon juice. I keep a bottle of it in the fridge, and a dash here and there is a nice change from the plain water every once in a while.

Personally I don't drink Crystal Light. I don't know enough about what's in it to put it into my body.
