Nintendo Wii for my BF's fat butt

I just got a Nintendo Wii with my BF, and I think he got more exercise playing that last night then he has in the past three months. Honestly, it may not be like the 60 weight sessions or 8 mile runs I do, but I seriously think he could lose a few pounds playing Wii Boxing! He has no desire to do any form of exercise, but he will regularly spend 4 hours playing video games on his days off. I'm thrilled to think he's going to be standing up and moving around for that time!

That's the one game I have been honestly tempted to buy for my kids. (Meaning the Wii)

I love Wii bowling, and I have noticed that this might be a great tool for getting gamers (adult and child alike) off of the couch.

or you might lock your children outside on a warm day and say go play like my parents did. just kidding.

I love the Wii! It is amazing and active. The boxing game is great for cardio and if you arent very active you will even feel it when bowling :)

My brother got one, and it was fun for the whole family! We would all take turns and play it for hours. We all worked up a sweat. It's going to be great for him!

maybe you could get him out onto an actual tennis court or golf course with the incentive that it will improve his Wii game!! or get him to lift weights with you so he can increase his stamina in his playing arm...

We have a wii, and although I regularly bowl over 200 in wii bowl, at a regular bowling alley recently, I bowled a 36... Pathetic!

The wii is a ton of fun, and can be exercise as well, but may not translate into those real skills!!
