Bloating Problems
Does anyone feel bloating pre-menstrual? I normally have this 10 days prior to my periods and end up putting on 1.5 inches and 2-3 kgs!
This depresses me no end and I tend to binge and put on more
My cycle is also not regular and I sometimes skip them altogether..
Any remedies/cures/precautions?

i have the same problem...i spoke w/ my dr and was told diuretics you can buy in the pharmacy over the counter are safe/non-addicting/etc....i began taking them before and during my period and never, ever felt the bloating feeling!

You're retaining water, which means you should be drinking even more water and eating water rich foods, (veggies, fruits) and reach for some high fiber foods as well. Try to steer clear of spicy/salty foods when you're starting to feel this coming on and drink more water!

exercise
I have the same problem, ugh! I find that exercising helps reduce the bloating. It's hard to want to excercise when I feel so bloated, but it's definitely worth it afterwords.

Don't need diretics from the store
Cranberry juice works great and there are no side effects (unless you are allergic of course).
I lost 10 pounds in two weeks just by adding cranberry (unsweetened) to my diet. 8 oz a day, diluted into 32 oz of water. You can add a little stevia for sweetner.

Almost forgot! Cayenne powder works almost as good as cranberry juice. Put some on your meat/veggies. It's a little spicy, but it helps your body to flush any excess water.
