Celsius or other "calorie burning" drinks

Coke is releasing a "calorie burnng drink" and there is one called Celsius that is out now.

They cite "thermogenic" ingredients.

I generally understand what this means--that it will rev up your metabolism to burn more than the ingredients have as total calories, I think.

The best use of a drink like this, I would think, would be to mix with alcohol.

Celsius supposedly burns around 70 calories. 3 rum and cokes would mean pretty much zero calories!

you're not supposed to mix heavy caffeine (stimulant) with a suppressant like alcohol. many bad consequences, the least of which is that you aren't as aware of the effects of the liquor in your system because the energy drink is counteracting its effects. i know you're going "duh thats the point" but its just not safe tricking your body like that.

regardless... i'm still excited about this drink! thanks for the news ;)

Sure... I'm sure this works just as good as that belt you can throw around your middle that send electronic pulses to give you six pack abs...

My advice, if it sounds to good to be true, it's probably too good to be true.
