ER - how do you interpret the end?

I'm not sure what happened to Abby -- I guess they'll probably make it all ok next season, but are we meant to assume she's having a miscarriage or got shot or what?

I love ER too. I am studying to be a nurse and just recently I was accepted into the program. From what I can tell, Abby has some kind of trauma to the baby maybe from the fall, hence the bleeding from the vagina, its not a good sign for the baby nor Abby. This is a tv show so most likely we can expect things to be fine once somebody finds her.

I just realized after reading this thread I fell asleep for the end!!!! UGGGGHHHH!!!!! I can't even remember what point I fell asleep - the last thing I remember is Kovach fighting with the crib!!!!

That ending was GREAT! I had slacked off on ER the last couple of weeks, but decided to watch the finale. I'm gald I did! I assumed it was trauma/miscarriage. I thought it was heartbreakingly great that Luca was so close, but couldn't help! I predict that she will be fine and this 'scare' will make her realize that she really does want to get married (a new outlook on life). Of course..then the wedding will be a great opportunity to bring her 'crazy mom' back in the picture...oh the drama ;)
