Body for Life

The above 12 week programme seems to be very effective going by the success stories at its website. What are the advantages and pitfalls for those who have been on it. Do I need to join a gym to get results?

I am on my 12th week and have my own equipment at home.

You do not need a gym to get results. I have dumbells and an exercise ball for my workouts. I use my stationary bike for my cardio.

A good forum to visit is There are many knowledgeable people there that would be willing to answer any questions you may have.

I am not a fan of Body for Life. It is not balanced, and for many people, is too many calories. Eating a balanced diet and exercising (with some kind of cardio AND toning) is the only way to effectively lose weight and keep it off.
