There's no one-size-fits-all way to address anxiety or depression. Some people (like me) respond very well to medication, while others don't. Some people respond better to talk therapy. Others work out their own ways of managing their conditions. And as the essay writer I'd say none of these things are mutually exclusive.

I've been dealing with depression for a long time. It pretty much drains oll of my energy which makes it difficult to take any steps in order to get and feel better. Best way would be simply talking to someone and telling them that you're depressed. That's the first and the most important step to fight it.
