^^okay, please STOP reading my logs!! ha! :p

perhaps you might want to start a group or team that is strictly workout focused/orientated? or maybe you might want to follow fitness blogs for some inspiration?

it's okay for you to pass over my logs. please don't feel obligated to read them. I hope you are able to find logs more appropriate to your liking. sorry for any awkwardness or discomfort my logs may have caused you.

peace

we are all here to get healthier !!! and you can't only fix or address one part of the person.... you could be the supportive person that gives those little kicks in the butt. Ask outright,,,WHAT DID YOU DO TODAY, FOR A WORK-OUT ??
just remember everybodies level will be different..... So be accepting...

NO-- it is the people that join groups and teams... Never fill out a profile, never log or comment... at least those that go off track now and then-- at least they are here....

Dang, I get really bored with the people who log only what they eat (and no amounts, because they're logging all THAT into some other site) and how much they work out. I don't come here to read logs of anonymous automata!

If you want to be on a site devoted only to logging calories, nutrients, and workouts, those DO exist. Personally, I like being here and knowing the people in my group are real folks balancing family and work and sometimes illnesses (and sometimes holiday partying and foodie vacations!) with weight loss and fitness. When they write, I know them as people. And I feel comfortable swapping strategies and recipes with them. And yes -- as one PP mentioned -- sometimes asking whether they got their workout in.

ok if you dont want soap opera logs.. don't read mine. lol. i write about whatever I am thinking or feeling.. it could be emotional or it could be a pep talk.. i too like knowing my pt family and that's what we are in most of my groups and teams.. we get to know each others lives from surgeries, family problems.. past experiences that made us who we are we support each other in life. through the good and bad,.. i like it all.. i get to know the person not just a name on a screen.

I thought PT was here for support rather than just statistics..
Maybe to some a short walk is an achievement.. health, commitments...
Not everyone can measure exactly what they are putting in their mouths, and probably is my result of being on this site.

In a perfect world:
I would have the time and the opportunity to go out alone and train for an hour or even two every day
I would have set personal meal nutritionally balanced with the right amount of calories
This would help me lose weight and be the size I want much quicker than it is taking me

BUT

life is full of challenges.. So I rely on my wonderful human group members, to help me get me through the next day trying to focus on avoiding pitfalls, and share my sporting triumphs, as I want to enjoy their successes, and be there in their time of weaknesses.

Anyway that was my pov, and if you managed to read to the end of my post:
Congratulations on the fitness you are achieving!

I thought I could say anything in my log about anything! It didn't even occur to me that I would be bothering anyone.

my take on that to the above poster.. say what you want.. noone has to read anything they don't want to.. i write about all sorts of things in my log.. its a journal of sorts to me.. i like to write but its hard to with my wrists.. typing is easier so its my way of letting things go.. i find it cathartic.. so don't stop because of what others think. its the web they can always close the X.
