Not wanting to eat dinner past 4:00pm?

I see articles and threads about eating times, frequencies, etc. and it made me curious what others are doing these days. Because customs always change.

Just curious what others are doing. Are the majority eating dinner at 7pm these days? Or is 6:00pm still the standard? I'm curious if folks are moving dinner time earlier?

Any big weight loss losers notice a difference in maintaing your weight loss by keeping a steady dinner time?

Thx

Sad thing is that I eat whenever I manage to find time to squeeze dinner in, and thus eat the "wrong" things. Not eating after 4 pm would never be an option for me as I usually go to bed around midnight if not later. So the question should probably be, how long before going to bed do you stop eating.

thanks for your input previous poster.

personally, I have a terrible habit of eating dinner at 4:00pm, regardless of cultural environment. this preference I have for eating dinner early has caused some slight awkwardness and tension from time to time with friends and family.

my question, restated, is what is the current pulse in dominate American culture for dinner time? and are folks moving to earlier dinner times? I was out of the country for a bit, and now live in a new state and most of my friends are expats. I figure with so much information (information overload) that habits for dinner time are changing. Just curious what is happening out there in the real world outside my little somewhat isolated bubble.
