Help - Steroids Causing Huge Appetite

I'm recovering from major surgery (I ruptured an aneurysm in my brain 3 weeks ago.) I'm home with very little energy or ability to move, but I have a HUGE appetite from the steroids. I can already feel the weight gain and I'm trying so hard to not freak out. So my questions is... What can I buy and keep stocked in the house that won't totally kill me if I eat tons of it. I'm thinking a few bags of romaine lettuce. Any other ideas for when I can't stop my hand from going to my mouth over and over agan?

keep veg cut up baby carrots, celery, peppers, maybe some hummus.. have someone make you a soup? drink plenty of water.. beans. cooked brown rice .

do you have weights.. you could do dumbbell exercises sitting down .. maybe some leg raises.

trust me i know the appetite of steroids. your lucky i was 16 when i was on them .. i didnt care what i ate. im still working off that weight.. . you are at least conscious of what steroids can do.

try juicing

try juicing your veggies, and then try to juice before you eat your meals. This will cut your appetite by at least half since the nutrients go right into your system the second you drink. Eating your food raw should also help with satiety for the same reason.

Thats why its so easy for raw foodists to starve themselves by accident and can become mal nourished. You just dont have an appetite.
