Dairy and weight loss

The research on dairy and weight loss is mostly done by someone funded by the dairy industry, and disputed by vegan types. The bottom line seems to be that IF you're not lactose intolerant, exercise and watch your calory count, dairy won't hurt and may help, particularly in losing fat instead of lean muscle mass. It may have something to do with the protein and minerals in milk.
