I am new

Hello everyone! I am new and I am looking to get some kind of help when it comes to losing weight. I always seem to stop the diet because I feel its not worth it or because I don't have the time. I am 22 years old, no children, never been married, and I am 244.6 pounds. Any advice for a new comer?

first of all welcome to peertrainer and joining is a great step in the right direction, join groups and teams and put yourself out there with post's and your logging of food and your workout's, i also have cycles where i diet and workout then just end up giving up, just hit one of those times last week where i normally would have given up but because of this site i got motivated to stick with it and im so glad i did, there are tons of groups and teams but make sure to join ones that are active or you wont get the maximum benefits from them. some ones i know of (progress not perfection)(30+ pounds to lose)(weekly weigh's) just check out a ton of them and i am sure you will find ones that fit what you are needing, just remember post post post and don't forget to log, good luck

Welcome, as the previous poster said GET INVOLVED... check out lots of groups and teams.. Join the ones that look interesting to you.
My other suggestions, don't let yourself give up stick to it for three months..
second, only set very small and attainable goals for yourself. Keep the long term goals visible BUT push for the little ones..

Buddy System

Hi - I am just starting too. It seems the groups that I initially connected with are pretty much inactive. I plan to do this WHOLEHEATEDLY and need a buddy or a very active group. Any suggestions?
