How to take a break

I'm always so overworked and overwhelmed. I keep hearing to take a break but I don't even know how to anymore. The second I sit still, I start to think of all the things I'm worried about. Help.

Most of my friends who are 'crazy busy' and overwhelmed are so mostly because of their own doing. They say they HAVE to do X, Y and Z b/c if they don't do it who will? The first flaw in their mindset is that X, Y, and Z HAVE to be done and done with the fervor and attention to detail that they put into it. The friends of mine who were able to take a look and figure out where they could let go and/or not be perfect were the ones who found balance. You don't say what has you feeling overworked and overwhelmed, but there's probably something you can let go of, something that only you require of yourself, that will ease the burden that is your life.

Write down all the things you love to do and just do one thing in the next week.
