I'm sure this is scientifically good advice, but it doesn't make much practical sense. If I had to give up all bread, pasta, and potatoes to eat only lentils and sweet potatoes as my carbs I would give up my diet in a couple of days. The same is true for breakfast. Kale shakes? No way would I want to drink that. It sounds like punishment.

I don't know about everyone else, but every time I try to cut specific foods completely out of my diet I fail miserably. The only way I can succeed is to eat the foods I like but in moderation.
