jogging every day?

is jogging like weight lifting, in that you ought to give the relevant muscle groups a day of rest before working them again? basically what i'm asking is...can i run multiple days in a row?

"it depends"... you shouldn't do hard days in a row, and if you are just starting or restarting it may be wiser to start with 3 times a week for a few weeks and then increase if you want. People who are very into running usually have a varied routine of easy, medium, and hard days and a day (maybe two) off a week. And some people are just more susceptible to overuse injuries than others are.
