Digby, my progress so far!
Hey Digby, Sophie a.k.a Sophie77 here.....I just wanted to let you know that I am still at it! I've lost 20 lbs. so far, from 193.5 to 173.5 as of this morning. I've got great support groups, and feel great about my progress. I've got 39.5 lbs. to go, but I thought I'd touch base!
I thought of you the other day when you said you had no idea that starting a journey to lose 5lbs. would have you eating beans and sprouts, but there you are! I find myself making small changes over time, and I am starting to see how you can get there. Now me, I'm not a sprouts kinda gal, but I'm making little leaps of my own!

Thanks for updating me on your progress. Twenty pounds is an appreciable amount of weight---1/3 of the total you want to use. Glad I could pass along some bits and pieces of info that have been of use to you.
Your strategy of making small changes over time is a good one. Trying to change everything all at once would be an overwhelming challenge.
