Opinions on Polar M32 Heart Rate Monitor Watch
I've never used a Heart Rate Monitor before, but I want to use one now for walking, using the eliptical, and weight training. I like the idea of a HRM also calculating calories for me as well. I don't mind wearing a chest strap, but I don't want a sports bra with a built in transmittor, I just want to wear my regular sports bra.
I think I like all the features of the Polar M32 Heart Rate Monitor Watch, but for $100 I want to make sure it's the right one.
Has anyone purchased this one? Here's a link to the product page on Amazon.

I recently bought a similar model, the F6 and love it. Looks like the M32 is water resistant, too. I mainly want to watch my heart rate and count calories, which it does. It has the special coding so there is no interference from outside transmissions and is backlit, which I use sometimes.

Always buy polar brand
I've spent less on a heart rate monitor only to have it break or not calculate accurately. You are paying for the frequency of communication between the watch and the band. Pay the money for a good, comfortable one. Also good is the bra that holds the band in place available on the polar website.

I have the polar f11 & love it. I wear the chest strap with a regular sports bra & can't tell the difference. Polar makes an excellent HRM. My only suggestion - sometimes the wrist units can be kind of big & bulky. If you think that may be an issue, you may want to stop by a sporting goods store to try one on.
