Importance of tracking in more ways than the scale....

I am almost done with month 2 here on Peertrainer.
I have only lost 3.8 lbs. in the month of February but in the month of January I lost a whopping 12.8. In the past this would have frustrated me but this time it is different because I've been tracking my inches lost and taking weekly bikini pics to help keep me on track (see Thursdays in my log and my profile pics).

I wanted to post this thread so that others that may be getting frustrated by the scale could see the importance of tracking other things to help keep yourself on track. As much as I would LOVE for the scale to have moved more I am thrilled to death in the transformations I see in my bikini pics and the inches that are coming off this month. That's really what I'm here for - the inches - not the pounds!

If you are getting frustrated please don't give up. Start tracking other things besides what the scale says!

January Stats:
Pounds: Lost 12.8
waist: -.75"
hips - 1"
size: 18 to a 16

February Stats:
Pounds: Lost 3.8
waist: -1.0" and still counting
hips: -1.0" and still counting
size: 16 to a 14 and still counting

Thank you for doing this. I am sooooooo frustrated that I only lose a pound a week or less than that or sometimes nothing. I don't use a tape measure, I don't measure my body fat and I should because that's a great way to win and feel awesome. Thanks again for this post.
