Mother to be

i just found out that i was pregnant and i am looking for another person to give me advice on stuff. It is my first pregnancy and i am very excited but i also want to stay in shape during and after. I was hoping to find somebody thats going through the same thing or has.. I am a little scared but very excited. Would anybody be interested in a support group for this?

Why don't you create a group for pregnant women and then advertise it? It will provide a link for members to directly join. Congrats!!

Congrats! I'm not pregnant yet, but plan to be within the year. If you started a group and didn't mind "hope to be" moms, I might join.

Congratulations!!!

I am expecting my first child March 19th, 2006...just a few weeks away.

Prior to getting pregnant, I was very active, I worked out 5-6 times a week running anywhere from 30-35 miles a week; lifted weights and was in the best shape of my life. When I found out I was pregnant, I didn't know what to think...I knew I wanted to stay in shape and tried the best I could...it is not easy!

I wish I had known about PeerTrainer during my pregnancy, but I just found out about it a few weeks ago. I would be interested in a support group, perhaps I can lend some insight on my experience.

"Mother of three". Running is not so good but walking is definitely in. And light weight training is also ok. There are lots of yoga exercises out there for expectant mothers. I found out through experience that if you exercise during pregnancy your labor is much easier and the healing process is faster. Remember those kegals:o)
