Hungry while working out!

I eat my fibre to fill me up in the morning and have a good salad for lunch usually, but when I'm working out in the afternoon I start to feel hungry (famished actually) around about the middle of my work out!
It completely throws my concentration and then I drink some water to feel a bit better but that seems to drain my energy!
Anyone else have the same problem?!? Anyone have a solution?!?

You might want to have some whole grain carbs before exercising to fuel your work out. A whole grain toast might do.
There's a Q&A on MSN Exper Advice that addresses this question.

There's also a Prevention article:

You could also try some healthy nuts such as 6-7 almonds just before working out.

OP here.. thanks for the nuts advice.. I don't mean crazy.. hehe.. you get me..
Anyway, I was doing some research about this the other day and I read that if you eat some nuts twenty or thirty minutes before a workout then your brain recieves the message that you are full.. (something in the nuts I suppost).
Tried it, hey presto!! No problem anymore!!
Thanks for your help guys :)
