this is a really good book by
Mireille Guiliano
funny humorous and insightful.
i read it in two sittings.
it teaches you portion control,
how to enjoy food
and most important of all how to enjoy life.

i highly recommend it for those who's been struggling with their weight for years

I have that book, too. It's a good reminder. Although, I've been reading recently that french women actually do and *are* getting fatter as they incorporate more fast and processed food.

I saw her on Oprah and she makes some great points, although when I saw the title I guessed what she meant. People in Europe eat very modest servings, for the most part. They go for quality, not quantity, and buy lots of food fresh because they have really tiny fridges. Yes, this is not universal, sure there are heavy people and yes, many are getting to fast food, but these are some great techniques we can apply to our lives.
