Members who do not post at all
Our group is called the "flab fighters" and we need members who will actively post. We have had a few who joined and then never posted again. If anyone would like to join us please visit our group and see if you would be interested. I am a stay at home mom with three boys. I am sure we could have loads in common. We need members who will help us keep motivation.
Thanks.

Hi :) I tried to find you but couldn't with the search engine in 'find/create a group' ... but i'm new so i'll keep trying (probably just don't know how to find correctly yet). I'm whimsy at Posting Daily Calories and Weight group.

If you can't find the group through the search engine, it means the group is filled. I would suggest going to the advertised groups, located in find/create a group, last link at the bottom (check out the latest advertised groups) to find a group that is active and looking for posters.

OP
Yes we are full now but we still have one member who is not posting at all so I am sure we will have another available spot soon. I am glad we had one person join our group who will post regularly. I think we all could use as much support as possible:o)

Thank you both :) I did join a few groups and started one up to have a place to make sure I could start posting. I'll keep an eye out in case the "flab fighters" show up with an open slot again.

i though the posts were supposed to encourage weight loss, not be a socializing thing. i joined a group where most of the postings were about what was going on in each members' families, homes, etc. i do not want to share ALL about me, i have friends. i was looking for encouragement in the area of weight loss. i guess it's each group doing their own thing, but i could not read enough of the previous comments/logs to even figure out what was going on with each person.

So find another group. There are so many here. Don't blame your group, you are at free will.

to the 12:03 poster. I agree with you. There are some groups that really don't focus directly on weight loss - but I think a lot of people eat for emotional reasons. That is why it is nice to be in a group with some anominity, to really express yourself.
You just have to search or create a group that is what you are looking for.
To the 12:19 poster - No reason to be Catty......

yes, 1:25, i think you are right. in my groups we talk about our daily lives a lot - b/c the pressures of work/home/relationships, etc tend to influence what we eat, how much we eat and the same for exercise. but don't worry, 12:03, there are many who feel as you do. i've been in groups w/ people who just log their meals & exercise with no explaination. there's room for everyone here.
