Looking for a good yoga program for beginners (plus-sized beginners!)

I'm ready to start working out, but I've had two babies in the last three years and since then I haven't spent much time doing anything more strenuous than changing diapers! Needless to say, I'm not in very good shape at all, so I'd like to start small with my exercise and build up to being able to go to a gym and really work out. I'd like to give yoga a shot. Does anyone have any suggestions for a yoga program for overweight, inflexible beginners? Thanks! :)

Do you have Netflix? They have 'Watch Now' videos, and they have some awesome yoga ones. If you can, try the ones by CRUNCH and Candlelight Yoga.

Restorative Yoga

Restorative Yoga is for people of all shapes and health states, but can be as challenging as you want. It's passive yoga, slumped over lots of props. A 10 minute forward bend over bolsters isn't that difficult but In the end a 10 minute forward bend is a 10 minute forward bend.

Sam Dworkis has a program called ExTension which is great for beginners. PEERtrainer also has a short article on the basics of yoga, some things to know before you start so that you don't get injured.

for beginners, i love denise austin. her yoga burn dvd is great and you should have little problem doing the moves-and she makes a point of saying only go as far as you can and let your body tell you how far you can go!
i like her dvd's and shows for all types of exercise.
