Period Blues
Hey, does anyone notice that your period makes you more tired? I can't stop sleeping (and usually I can't stop eating).
Wed. Feb 8, 5:57pm
Absolutely, I have no energy. Happens to lots of women, but not all.

I feel the same way!
I am the same way.......no energy, wanting to eat ALL the time, healthy or not. I try to got for a walk at some point during the day, since i have found it gives me a bit more energy.
Also, i give myself little food indulgences, like f.f. gello , granloa bars, and about every other month, i eat REAL choclate ;)

Exercising while on your period will actually help you with the symptoms of pms. I used to feel that tired and bloated and cramping until I started walking on the treadmill at least 3-4 days of my period. I have seen a vast improvement.

Throughout history, or in ancient history, the time of month was looked on by tribes as a time of reflecting, of real wisdom. Many discount what they feel and "freak out" about during this time as PMS, or being overemotional but it's quite the contrary. This is usually the time that the most important issues come into focus and good decisions can be made, I'm loosely (and not very eloquently) paraphrasing things I've read by Dr. Christiane Northrup. She made me look at this in an entirely different way.
