This is just too hard today.

I am having a really hard time today with getting back in shape. Part of it is stress from work, which makes me want to lay around and be a sloth. Also, I feel really not hot in my work clothes...

try changing your attitude "stress from work, which makes me want to lay around and be a sloth".

If work stress is really getting to you, do some cardio like kick boxing and let out the stress.

Sorry you are having a bad day. Remember that eating poorly will only give a a few minutes of enjoyment, and hours of guilt. If the weather is nice I'd recommend going for a walk around your house or office. You are allowed to just relax some days too however, but I find exercise to be very theraputic b/c I have a hard time thinking of work and working hard at exercise at the same time.
Hang in there. Tomorrow is a new day.

Don't worry...everyone feels like this at times. But it's good that you're admitting it! Truth is, use your stress from work as a positive motivator! If you think about your stress while working out...it totally keeps you going. For example, I'm in nursing school and it's totally stressful, so I think about all that I have to do and know while I workout and I'm able to keep going. It's pretty amazing. Plus, I always feel better after I workout, even if I dreaded it at the beginning.

Take a break from laying around and go for a walk. Or if you're stuck indoors, do jumping jacks for 10 minutes. Either one will get your heart pumping and you'll feel better once you make that initial effort. At least I always do.

If you have to wear unflattering work clothes, try wearing something that makes you feel attractive underneath them!
