or is weight watchers a lot more effective. Has anyone done both and have any feedback? tia

i did both, and quite honestly, nutrisytem wasnt my best choice. weight watchers at least teaches you how to eat, how to control your portions and gives you the basics of eating healthy. i think it is a healthier way to go. i did nutrisytem cause it seemed easier. there are no easy ways to lose weight. so, my choice would be weight watchers.

Agree with pp. Nutrisytem is great because it tells you exactly what to eat, it's pre packaged etc, but what happens once you stop buying the food? You didn't really learn how to prepare healthier meals....

I have not done either, well WW was over 20 years ago so very different system now.
But I asked my dr about nutisystem and he said you don't need that.....
Well really what we need to know is how to make proper portion sizes and healthy food.
There is a lot of info out there on the internet. You can even buy plates sectioned into how much starch, veggies and protien you should eat.
I say save your money.
But if you feel you need something to help I would do WW.
They seem to be one that helps you make right decisions and how to live in the real world with food and resturants and such.
And how to keep it off.
Good luck

yes i agree with everyone
weight watchers' slogan says it all,
"BE AN AFTER. STAY AN AFTER."
you'll be much happier with WW
and it is easier
