Shoulder exercises

I was wondering what are some good shoulder workouts with or without weights. My shoulders are tiny, narrow things followed by huge arms and thick hips. I want to be more proportionate. Help!

And how do you do the exercises? I don't know any at ALL.

KISS

The shoulders have three distict parts so:

1. Front raises - stand there and raise the dumbbells in front of you to horizontal with mostly straight arms
2. Side raises - stand there and raise the dumbbells out to the side to horizontal with slightly bent arms
3. Rear raises - bend over forward and raise the dumbbells out to the side to horizontal with slightly bent arms

Do 3 sets of each at 12 reps - once or twice a week DONE. Voila' bigger shoulders - guaranteed!

I use a shoulder press which has 3 positions..lying down, sitting and recline..hits the shoulder at different angles. I've had great success with these.

If you belong to a gym, take a sculpting class and ask the instructor to be sure to include shoulder work. I got several out-of-the-ordinary moves that way, and for the first time ever I can see as well as feel the difference in my shoulders.

Click on the body part you want to focus on, such as shoulders, and voila!!

I live by this thing. :-)
