Weight Loss Success Story - Drop 120lbs in 11 months

Saw this on the news the other day and wanted to share with everyone.

Great story I like hearing someone losing weight without surgery.

Some things I would like to note:
1) Parents it's not just enough to feed your kids the right foods. She was raised eating the right things but didn't understand why it was the right things or why not to eat other things. I actually see this a lot where kids are restricted of "bad" foods when they are young and go crazy on them when they have freedom and gain a LOT of weight. It's better to let your child have a soda or a piece of candy and explain how to enjoy these things in moderation so they know what do do when out on their own.
2) While at 225 she was big, she is also very young (high metabolism) and had been an athlete most of her life. She was too big to run when she started dieting but I'm sure she still had a lot more muscle than many 225lb people. Don't get frustrated if you do all the same steps as her and it takes you 2 years to lose that 120lbs instead of 11 months.
