thrills and chills

While I am thrilled to be losing weight, I notice I am getting chilly more often. Anyone else experience this?

ps. I think I am eating sufficient calories, a balance of carbs, protein & fat..aiming for healthier foods. I am walking/ jogging 2-4 miles a day, and losing 1-2 lbs per week.

Thx, Watching NHL w/ my Blanket

it's 'cause you are taking off the OTHER blanket you were wrapped in ;)

LOL - I noticed the same thing. If you are a roller coaster fan, you'll notice that the rides will seem rougher. My husband said it's because I lost my extra padding!

We have fat on our bodies for 2 reasons - insulation and cushioning. If you lose 50% of your body fat you are losing 50% of your insulation.

I didn't think that my 100 lb weight loss was the reason why, but now my husband and I argue over the thermostat and I am always cold in the house. Interesting!
