The "old fashioned names" for girls seem to be making a comeback but what has happened to boys? Doesn't anyone name their son John anymore? My husband has one rule about boy's names: it can't sound like anything that you would equate with getting knocked down and having your lunch money stolen.

My brother's name is Tyson Andrew and I have alway loved that.

My husband's rule is no NOUNS: Stone, Ridge (Wait a minute...isn't that 1/2 the cast of Bold & the Beautiful?)
Got anything to work with - first letters to avoid? a middle name to work with? first letter of the last name?

My nephew's name is Xavier. That's kind of cool, don't you think? We call him "X" for short.
