Yes, this is an extremely common thing to experience. have you taken a picture of yourself? Sometimes that can give you a much more accurate picture, in your head of what you look like.

are you still striving to lose weight?? In your mind you may say " my magic number is 120" and you are at 130, so to you, you are not looking "good" I had an eating disorder, I am lost so much weight I was unable to give blood because I didn't weight enough & I still thought I was fat. I became obessed with dieting. So please take a look at yourself & see where you are, talk to your doctor & make sure you are eating, but I didn't eat at all. A pack of crackers a day if that(literally) & All I did all day was drink water to make me full. Step back & think "if that was my mother, would I think she is at a healthy weight, or sister, or daughter" You will come to see where you truly are & how your family is reacting to you. Your family may just be proud in saying that you look good, they are noticing your loss, maybe they think it is enough at this pt., but please do talk to a doctor no matter what.

My sister lost about 50lbs...but she still sees herself has a bigger person....I mean, she's now a size 4 I think...so definitely not a big person.

I lost quite a bot of weight and my friends were telling me i was twoo skinny. I was not that skinny. I was a size 10. I gained back about 20. I still fit into my size 10 stuff but i still feel unnattractive and see my body as really heavy. I like the way i was before. I need to get back to the weight i was before. even though when i was at that weight i still felt heavy...ahhh....the drama of weight loss.

You are not alone! I feel this mostly after I workout. I think when I try to move my body around it hits me how much fat I have to work with! The photo suggestion sounds like a good one. Sometimes this feeling has been so strong in the past that it has sabotaged my dieting... I would think, I work so hard and I am still fat anyway what good does all the hard work do. If anyone else has other suggestions please post!
